  • CHALLENGE

    With people stuck at home during the early days of the COVID pandemic, the Wander Home series was conceived to spark joy and inner peace. The goal was to launch the first video streaming wellness retreat series and create content that would entice consumers to return again and again.

  • PERSPECTIVE

    With the world in a free-fall, people were faced with uncertainty and complex emotions, and unsure how to process all that was happening. Fear and decision fatigue was pervasive. After validating a new business idea, it was time to launch an online ‘home’ for gentle emotional, mental and spiritual guidance that offered support for people seeking inexpensive and inclusive ways to feel better.

  • APPROACH

    Designing and launching the online wellness retreat from scratch, I was able to put the end consumers' needs first. The aim was to create superfans who would virally share their experience with the content without paying influencers to achieve reach. By curating giveaways, Wander Home was able to partner with the wellness guides featured in the series to leverage their like-minded communities. Giveaway winners received a free trial and were asked to share their experience on social media.

  • IMPACT

    During the launch month, giveaway winners enjoyed the Wander Home curated programming series and shared 8 Instagram stories on average of their experience. The viral reach of the winner’s experience allowed for a 52% week-over-week increase in new clients signing up for the newsletter.

    Additionally, the giveaway winners who experienced the free trial converted at a rate of 60% to paid subscribers who enjoyed additional programming and content.
